We took a trip to Guayaquil, Ecuador over New Year's -- while there we spent a few days at the beach. Here is Alex enjoying his hammock with a view of the ocean.

While in Guayaquil we were super lucky that Tony took us to a place to see Galapagos turtles!!! It's a little garden on the campus of the university where he teaches -- so special!

We also went to a park full of iguanas just wondering around.
