We spent our anniversary weekend in Cape Town, where we spent part of our honeymoon :)
We stayed in a beach town that is home to penguins! The kids had a blast watching the penguins every day. There were some organized places to keep people away from the penguins, and other areas completely free where we were on the beach with the penguins playing around us.
Note the penguin on the rock as the kids play in the sand...
These are two penguins that escaped out from under our car as we pulled out for dinner -- glad to seem them alive!
We also visited the Cape of Good Hope -- the place where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet.
And we took a cable car ride up Table Mountain -- here we are with the mountain behind us from downtown Cape Town.
