A few friends come over with the nanny to keep Alex company while we went out to dinner for E.J.'s birthday. After singing "Happy Birthday" to E.J., Joan then showed us a few songs she has learned at her daycare. Alex loved pretending he could sing along, and Joan seemed to appreciate the back-up!
After all the dancing, Joan tried to read Alex some books.
